Make some noise!

If you don’t make noise, you won’t be heard. Doesn’t matter how great your ideas are, if know one hears them, then you’re toast. I don’t care how many great stories you write or how many unfinished books you’ve got, nothing matters unless you get noticed.

In the “corporate” world, being quiet and unassuming gets you no where. Why would they promote you if they don’t even know you exist. Writing is the same way. People have to hear from you in order to know what you have to offer.

So, what are you waiting for, get off your ass and make some noise!

What have you written today?

They say Rome wasn’t built in a day. They also say if you have thousands of minions to do your bidding, you’ll get a lot more work done.

Well, writing isn’t done by the masses. Unless your HuffPo of course (gag). Is that what we’ve come to? A mindless mass of readers who are easily passified by more mindless crap drummed up by faux-journalism?

There’s your new word of the day: faux-journalism. Let me tell you something, writing isn’t a job for the masses, and quality writing only happens after you’ve given all the blood and sweat you can muster for the day.

So what are you waiting for, write something. Now dammit!
